LF Anti-trust

  • We will start by mentioning the project's Antitrust Policy, which you can find linked from the LF and project websites. The policy is important where multiple companies, including potential industry competitors, are participating in meetings. Please review and if you have any questions, please contact your company legal counsel. Members of the LF may contact Andrew Updegrove at the firm Gesmer Updegrove LLP, which provides legal counsel to the LF.

Documentation

  • Standing Motto: document as you code.... document as you build
  • Documentation Focus: 5G SBP Infrastructure, open source projects (under the hood), Use Cases Slicing, UULC, eMBB
  • Documentation is critical to successfully showcase and archive our work. It allows for evolution of the work to continue forward. It allows consumers to duplicate the work, and it allows participating companies to leverage the collateral and showcase the work they have done in the project.
  • Documentation Timeline- the timeline is developed to ensure that the documentation is released in a timely manner such that the work is still relevant and fresh
    • Work with Wavelabs to draft documentation
      • Wavelabs has already reached out to some contributors
      • Include sufficient build steps to allow a consumer to duplicate the build. Include helm charts, scripts, images, lessons learned.
      • High level Lab design. As-Built documentation
      • Lab BOM (Bill of Materials)
    • Draft of complete document ready for review- November 10, 2022
    • Final Document Release - December 8, 2022
  • Call to Action: work with Wavelabs on your section of documentation
