ONAP CNF requirements
- The ONAP TSC is requesting any CNF requirements
- Request for Lei Huangto join the ONAP TSC for a quick exchange of ideas
Intelligent Networks and AI survey
- Great response rate (65 respondents) with good cross organization representation
- High % of respondents looking to do something in the next 12 months. Many still in pilot stage.
- Beth Cohen would like a workshop on initial findings and discussion- Would like to understand what they are thinking with regard to deployment methodology - that was a little fuzzy from the survey. Need to dig into that more. Workshop would be dialogue, not just sharing the survey results.
- LFN use of the survey as part of marketing collateral - Brandon Wick No specific time driver at the moment but would like to see this shared as a webinar in addition to the white paper that is already planned. Would like to do that in the 1st part of the year.
Synchronization of white papers
- General cadence is 2 white papers and 2 surveys per year
- end of Jan 2021 - NFV testing white paper in first draft
- NFV testing white paper
- Need to abstract more information from text to diagrams
- Beth Cohen contributing some ideas to simplify
- Case study chapter suggested - will extract and publish the case study separately
- Email was distributed to the list and it has been uploaded into the EUAG whitepaper workspace
- 5 contributors to the white paper. Lei Huang, Saad Ullah Sheikh, Beth Cohen, Randy Levensalor Massimo Banzi
- Goal is to publish in early March
- 5G Adoption white paper
- Brandon Wick would like to see this white paper publish targeted for May in order to mazimize the attention and consideration from both the community and the whitepaper writers.
LFN February Dev Event
- 2021 February LFN Developer & Testing Forum
- Currently only one EUAG topic submitted by Beth Cohen
- Lei Huang will add a session on the NFV survey
- Brandon Wick suggests a session that takes input not only from ONAP but also from the other communities.
- Massimo Banzi makes the EUAG aware for the AI/ML being taken up by the TMForum - (added to the Dev Forum session already planned)
