Topic Overview
Nephio was founded to solve an industry need for telcos, but there is nothing restrictive about where and how Nephio can be applied to networking. Because Nephio can orchestrate and manage cloud native applications in addition to xNFs, it can be an effective tool for enterprise use cases as well. At the recent Nephio R2 Technical Summit, Aarna Networks proposed an exploratory session about using Nephio for Enterprise use cases and possible integrations with adjacent open source projects and communities and received a lot of great feedback, ideas, and questions.
We'd now like to continue this discussion in the broader LF Networking community. In this session, we'll discuss ideas for aligning Nephio with use cases (LLM Orchestration, Security Orchestration, Process automation, and IoT (MicroShift/Portainer/K0s/K3s)) as well as other open source efforts (Open Tofu, L3AF).
