Specific topics for this week:

  • Status of our 2022 Anuket Assured badges. 
    • Check progress on requirements and tests for a potential R2 CNF badge.  What must be in place in order for us to offer a badge? 
      • We need requirements, tests, and a place to test (either the vendor seeking the CNF badge has R2 compliant and badged infra or they need to use a lab with R2 compliant infra).  As it stands now, we believe identifying the tests and requirements is possible.  Scot has been working a milestone for the N release and in that they are working to clarify CNF requirements that should be possible to also use as part of the M release (could have fewer requirements and tests for M release). 
      • We discussed at length the question of where to CNF testing would occur.  Scot took an action to talk with Lincoln (see if he can join an upcoming CVC call or perhaps even setup a separate call to be able to discuss labs for R2.  
      • Scot has also been working with MS to see if he could get space for an R2 field trial / Reference Implementation, but resources are short at the moment due to a MS having a large project due in November
      • Scot does have approval from his immediate manager to move forward with a field trial which is a positive step
      • The field trial would be based on the latest release made public as requirements would be within the release (Moselle)
    • The other 3 badges (VNF Infra, VNF, and Cloud Infra are confirmed)
      • No discussions given this part of our badges are clear
    • When do we stop to ensure we don't miss delivery of 2022 badges? (We still need to create the release specific documentation but that should be fairly simple)
      • We did not discuss other than Scot suggested we would try over the next 2 weeks to get clarity on open items limiting us from offering a CNF badge in 2022
  • Call for volunteers - Working session/or independent work to identify improvements to the structure and content of Verification – LF Networking.  Goal is to make our "offerings" clearer and to improve the instructions for "how to" apply for a badge. 
    • Briefly reminding everyone what this task is about, but we said we would continue to wait for a few more attendees to join our call before setting up a working session for this topic.

  • How to address the lack of "pull" for Anuket Assured badged infrastructure and workloads?
