Looking good, no incomplete tasks.
Agenda & Minutes
Standing Items:
- Review Open Action Items - nothing to review
- Review Issues in Gitlab -nothing to review
Specific topics for this week:
- Kanagaraj has resigned from his post as one of our CVC Co-Chairs (are we ok to continue with only 1 co-chair or should we nominate a replacement?)
- Decision: We will not replace our 2nd Co-chair. The CVC already has 1 co-chair and we believe it is sufficient. If anyone objects, please contact Olivier Smith.
- Call for volunteers - Working session on improving the structure and content of Verification – LF Networking. Goal is to make our "offerings" clearer and to improve the instructions for "how to" apply for a badge.
- Update - Due to low attendance we will revisit this again on the next call.
Items on the agenda that we did not cover (for a future meeting):
- Status of 2022 Badges (Progress on requirements and tests for a possible 2022 CNF badge for R2)
- Discussions are ongoing - to discuss again in early Sept.
- How to address the lack of "pull" for Anuket Assured badged infrastructure and workloads?
New Action Items
- None this week

Hi all. Tried to join meeting today, but did not find a join link when I followed Sandra's regular link.
On this matter: Call for volunteers - Working session on improving the structure and content of Verification – LF Networking, I remain interested. Olivier Smith How are we going about this? Is there anything I could do before next meeting?

Hi Kodi Atuchukwu,
Absolutely, if you have time I would recommend going to: Verification – LF Networking
As a starting point, a way to help would be:
1) Read it, and reflect on the content and structure
2) Think about how easy it is for a vendor or service provider to use
3) Can we connect this site and our program documentation in a better way? For example, how can we make the steps to verification much easier such as Step 1 - do this, Step 2 - do this, etc.
Put your thoughts together and share with the team! Thanks again Kodi Atuchukwu

Olivier Smith Please see below:
1) Read it, and reflect on the content and structure
Paragraph 1: commercial cloud native containerized and virtualized products and services
Paragraph 2: for cloud native containerized and virtualized stacks (VNFs and CNFs)
Paragraph 3: Will be good to boldly highlight the advantages (possibly a summary of the benefits) and request (even if not formally) for this by the CSPs, just before the 'Key Benefits':
Key Benefits: Service Providers
This may be a far cry but, can add:
Over-provisioning:
• The under-utilization of existing hardware needs to be addressed
• The Energy crisis of 2022 further demands that Telco applications are installed more optimally, to utilise server resources more efficiently
Key Benefits: Vendors
Can add:
Leverage the community to reduce in-house effort
Follow These Steps
We can include:
Test set-up (between Step 1 and 2)
Award of badge (after Step 5)
Badge Categories:
Anuket Assured Lab (coming Q2 2022): we should remove or update the date reference
The badges should have links
2) Think about how easy it is for a vendor or service provider to use
It will help to address how Problem Reports, and/or Support Requests are raised
It will help to have a badging guide, or at least a breakdown of the Steps highlighted.
3) Can we connect this site and our program documentation in a better way? For example, how can we make the steps to verification much easier such as Step 1 - do this, Step 2 - do this, etc.
Yes, we can. We should. This is the guide/breakdown. Happy to help on this.
