  • This hands-on tutorial will help CNF Vendors (aka Network Equipment Providers) to go through the CNF Certification process with their own cloud native product using their own Kubernetes cluster.

Topic Overview

The Cloud Native Network Function (CNF) Certification is a CNCF initiative that gives insights into a CNF's installability, compatibility, and resilience. It also promotes workload self healing as a highly desired cloud native property.

This hands-on tutorial will help CNF Vendors (aka Network Equipment Providers) to go through the CNF Certification process with their own cloud native product using their own Kubernetes cluster.

There will be time for Q/A as well as looking at the implementation for some components of the CNF Certification Program, including the CNF Test Suite. Attendees should leave this tutorial with an understanding of how to deploy the CNF Certification tests using their own Kubernetes environments.

Prerequisites:  Come prepared with access to your own cluster, either a local cluster using kind (Kubernetes IN Docker) or a remote cluster such as Amazon EKS, Google GKE, or Azure AKS.
