Chair Person

Junlan Feng, IEEE Fellow, Vice Chairman of the China Artificial Intelligence Industry Alliance, Chief Scientist at China Mobile，General Manager of AI and Intelligent Operation R&D Center，Board Chair of Linux Foundation Networking.

Dr. Feng received her Ph.D. on Speech Recognition from Chinese Academy of Sciences, and joined AT&T Labs Research in 2001, as a principal researcher on Speech recognition, language understanding and data mining until 2013. Dr. Feng has published over 100 publications and one book. She has led the R&D team of China Mobile on artificial intelligence and intelligent network operation since September 2013。 The Jiutian Platform she developed with her team has become the main brand & product of ChinaMobile for AI and Network Transformation. Jiutian has directly contributed over 3.1 billion RMB cost saving and enable new lines of revenue.  

Dear Fellow LFN Board Members, 

I volunteer to continue one more year as the board chair. Since 2020, we have run this community mostly online. I wish I can make more concrete contribution this year via our face-to-face collaboration. I believe Network will play the most important role for digital economy in this era.

Treasurer

Jonne Soininen is Head of Software Industry Initiatives at Nokia in Helsinki. Prior to Nokia, he worked in different positions with Nokia, Nokia Siemens Networks, Renesas Mobile, and Broadcom and has an extensive history in telecommunications ranging over 15 years.

Jonne has a Master of Science in computer science from the University of Helsinki. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the Aalto University in Finland.

Hello everybody,

I would like to nominate myself to the treasurer position. I have been the treasurer already for some time, and I would like to continue to be of service for the community and the board. With ONE Summit coming to LFN this year, we have a special risks and opportunities in the LFN on the financial side.

I hope I can serve you, again.
