  • Ranny Haiby Encouraged everyone to participate in the LFN Security Forum(Sign up here: LFN Security Forum) and TAC Community Schedule..
    • Jason spoke more about the Community schedule to highlight the need to expand our engagement in the broader community.

Recognition program

  • Jason Hunttalked about the first draft of the LFN Community Badging program.
  • Discussion ensued around how long the badges are visible on a profile or identifying the dates where someone was a leader or last contributing date
  • Ed Warnicke suggested that we update the info.yaml scheme to help identify the leader/PTL badges.
    • Agreed that it may be difficult to apply this to sub-committees.
  • Suggestion to speak to others who have implemented similar programs to hear what challenges and limitations they faced.
  • Ed Warnicke suggested that we start with Committer badges and then extend out from there as we learn better ways to implement the program
