Agenda

  • Start the Recording
  • We will start by mentioning the project's Antitrust Policy, which you can find linked from the LF and project websites. The policy is important where multiple companies, including potential industry competitors, are participating in meetings. Please review and if you have any questions, please contact your company legal counsel. Members of the LF may contact Andrew Updegrove at the firm Gesmer Updegrove LLP, which provides legal counsel to the LF.
  • Roll Call
  • Action Items Review
  • Agenda Bashing
  • General Topics

Minutes

Developer and Testing Forum

  • 525 registrants,
  • Keeping bridges open worked better than closing the bridge each time
  • Event survey link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LFNDevForumJune21
  • Will revisit after we get survey results - particularly interested in how newer members perceived the session
  • "ask anything" difficult to handle because no F2F meeting except if you prepare the questions for the audience

TAC Community Schedule

  • TSC members encouraged to attend TSC's outside their usual Project meetings
  • Dropping in and just lurking is perfectly fine.

LFN Recognition Program

  • LFN Community Badges
    • Made a number of live edits to the above doc.
  • Looking at this as a way to expand our communities.
  • Want to keep the work to manage as minimal as possible.
  • Discussion of the potential for an "I Voted" type of badge.
  • Discussion about how to categorize the leadership badge -
    • recommendation the PTL be broken our as a specific badge
    • recommendation for badges specific to projects
  • Automation is a prerequisite
  • Suggestion to have a badge for 100 Commits even if you're not a committer.  Perhaps this could be tiered? Silver, Gold, Plat, etc.
