Some of you may already familiar with my roles in NFV realm. I am currently in the TSC of OPNFV and PTL of OPNFV Bottlenecks project, a system limit testing project whose test case is included in OVP.

My personal experience includes leading testing working group and long duration testing initiative in OPNFV, micro-service transformation of OPNFV testing projects in cloud native CI/CD pipeline, promotion/attending cooperated testing activities with ETSI, etc. I have also been included in Dovetail related work since the beginning of it. I believe my strong testing/certification backgroup will bring much value to CVC and help to structure it under LFN.

Rabi Abdel (Vodafone)

I nominate Rabi Abdel for the position of vice-chair of CVC. Rabi’s experience in NFV includes developing Industry Specifications in areas of acceleration, performance and benchmarking. He has also worked in technology and vendor organizations implementing NFV platforms and currently represents a leading mobile operator as Network Virtualization and SDN/NFV Lead Architect. For LFN compliance to be adopted and impact the industry I believe that we need strong Service Provider representation. In my opinion Rabi brings invaluable experience and ideal personal qualities to help shape a compliance program under LFN.
