Topic Overview
The current plan for the Orinoko release of the Reference Model (RM) specification include:
- Reference Model status and plans – Walter Kozlowski (Telstra)
- Areas of potential collaboration with ODIM regarding Infrastructure Management – Jon Mechling (HPE)
- Possible alignment with ORAN WG6 – Tomas Fredberg (Ericsson)
- In Chapter 3 introduce AF_XDP – Petar Torre (Intel)
- Any other ideas?
The goal of this session is to gather feedback on these topics, to discuss potential of the inclusion of other topics, and to encourage active contribution into the RM work.

- Jon presented the ODIM work status. Meeting agreed that there potential collaboration opportunities between ODIM and Anuket, to be discussed. It was noted that while RM will be included on the spec side, RI streams need to be involved.
- Tomas presented the goals and the current status of ORAN WG6 (Cloudification, Orchestration group), and proposed a scope of potential alignment between RM specs and ORAN documentation. The meeting agreed that the value of the alignment needs to be defined first.
- Petar presented Linux optimisation technology AF_XDP and proposed changes in RM to reflect these as optional capabilities of the model. This proposal was agreed in the meeting. The on-going discussions with RA-2 has been also mentioned, and supported. Impact on OpenStack and RA-1 unknown ate this stage.
