Brandon will look at the updated Webinar abstract from Telstra/Ericsson and come back to the team
ROI discussion is more of a cost savings model/calculator type tool concept. Spreadsheet based that could be used by participants to assess how CNTT could/may benefit them by plugging in their unique data.
Help stir some thinking around how concrete savings can be achieved. initial concept being worked on with a first draft targeting first week of August.
- Brandon mentioned that there had been something like this done in early days of NFV in conjunction with Intel and a white paper- Brandon added the link below.
- Joanna commented that calculators can be difficult due to wide range of inputs, but suggested that collecting elements of operating costs, list assumptions
Discussion ensued around keeping it rather simple and straightforward, limit the number of levers that need to be pulled.
Walk on item- from Rabi - we took an AR to rename the primary Workstreams 1 v 2 .
- One stream v Two stream can be confusing as to is one more recent and obselete the previus?
- V for Virtualization or C for Container stream?
- COntainer can be too limiting
- "Openstack-based" v "Kubernetes-based", the word "based" can imply the primary focus and not exclude the other technology
- What about VNF-based v CNF-based ? This seem to have consensus on the most attractive. This shall be our recommendation.

We have a bit of a chicken and egg situation where we need to see line of sight to some of the concrete Pri 3 success criteria items being precursors for adoption and increased particpation. We need to instill confience that we are driving progress in order to get the broader participation/adoption.
