Discussed some of the key Operator motivations- biz case v operational stress/chaos (emotional)
Operational efficiency is super critical....getting all VNF vendors on one common NFVI vastly simplifies
Expectations/claims from VNF vendors often mismatched with reality and onboarding is very difficult as a result
Want to have the flexibility to choose vendors and not be forced by security of choosing 1 vendor to reduce uncertainty
Operators are engineering outfits at the end of the day. Many decisions are deliberate, considered (methodical) but... many are trying to be much more flexible, agile, move faster
Create better structure for assurance, expectations so that the whole process can move faster

- Brainstrorm digital mktg ideas (interim Bob send a message to folks on idea for webinar series topics)
- Building out 2H mktg plan

- Add Badging Requirements Discussion ( logical ask from MNOs in terms of the Badging requirements, expectations, RFIs, how binding, is it enforcable

Field Trials discussion
- Need to set a date for Field Trial
- Scot/Nick have developed a straw man plan for field trials- work item needs from leaders, participants
CNTT- Acronym name shift. the NFVI portion of the naming convention implies VM RA only. What is ETSI doing in this area? Alignment with ETSI should be considered.
- There is an action item for next few MMA meeeting with a goal to settle this at vFTF session.
- "Cloud native Telco Taskforce" - does not need to imply certain technology, does not exclude VMs or imply COntainers.
- Decision was taken to recommend this new meaning of the CNTT acronym officially.
