  • LF Provides:

  • Member Provides:
    • Mission statement and selected OSI approved license for project 
    • List of Github account(s), domain name(s), trademark(s) to be transferred to LF
    • Your project should have its own GitHub organization, separate from any GitHub organizations shared in your company or with other projects.  If you haven’t yet, create a new GitHub organization for your project, and have a user who is an owner in both organizations move each project repository to the new organization.
      • Then, invite the user “thelinuxfoundation” as an owner at the organization level (not per repository) to your project organization(s).
    • List of mail lists to be created for the project
    • Digital Presence
      • Project logo artwork delivered
      • Website content (splash page)
    • Pitch Deck for the Project
    • Completed technical charter
    • Rough Timeline of Desired Project Launch/PR, Seed Code Available 
      • LF wants 5 organizations endorsing the project (quotes preferred, inclusion in pitch deck acceptable)
      • Want webinars to drive adoption
    • Long Term Direction of Project (Community, Community+Funding, Umbrella Community+Funding)
